About Florida Land and Fire

Florida Land and Fire (FLF) was founded in 2019, formerly operating as Immokalee Land Management. Owner operator Frank Garcia brings more than a decade of hands on experience in prescribed burning, wildland firefighting, and land management throughout Florida. As a former wildland firefighter, EMT, and certified prescribed burn manager, Frank has extensive experience planning and executing safe, controlled burns that improve land health, reduce wildfire risk, and restore natural ecosystems.

Through years of working on active fire crews and managing large scale land projects, Frank developed advanced skills operating heavy equipment and tractors used for land clearing, fire line construction, acreage mowing, and vegetation management. These capabilities have allowed Florida Land and Fire to expand into a full service Florida land management company, providing solutions such as prescribed fire, land clearing, invasive species control, and habitat restoration for private landowners, farms, ranches, conservation properties, and development projects.

Florida Land and Fire takes pride in building a knowledgeable crew that shares the same dedication to safe burning practices and responsible land stewardship. Frank is also passionate about passing this experience to the next generation, working alongside and mentoring his own sons and daughter while training others who are learning the trade.

Safety 1st

Safety is our main priority not only on fires, but all jobs. FLF is well-equipt with the equipment necessary to maintain a high standard in safety. When planning for a prescribed burn, we notify the local Florida Forest Service and emergency services to ensure everyone is well informed. When working in residential or high-traffic areas we always go the extra mile to keep the public informed and implement the necessary Best Management Practices.

Strategy

We work closely with project managers and conduct thorough surveys of our sites to ensure that our objectives are accurately met. When planning for any fire services we take the necessary steps working with local regulatory agencies so that all burns are conducted in an authorized manner.

Environmental Longevity

Keeping Florida’s historical land legacy alive is why we do what we do. Owner-operator Frank Garcia is rooted in Old Florida and knows what the true harmony of agriculture and forestry looks like. FLF works with landowners, farmers, and ranchers to keep their land productive while also working with conservationists and mitigation banks to keep the balance of the forests’ ecology.

With every development, more of Old Florida is lost, which is why FLF welcomes the opportunity to work with developers to maintain their preserves, on any scale.
